Since its inception in 1999, ExportGA has helped over 200 companies sell in excess of $40 million all over the world. The program has been nationally recognized for its quality and effectiveness by the North American Small Business International Trade Educators (NASBITE) and the U.S. Small Business Administration.

ExportGA is an intensive four-session, 16-hour export training program which allows export-ready companies to develop their skills. By utilizing these skills throughout the program, new international sales opportunities are identified.

Companies accepted into the program will become skilled at finding profitable export markets, developing distribution channels, understanding foreign and U.S. regulatory issues, pricing and costing company products, submitting international quotations, processing accounts receivable and recognizing legal and cultural considerations. Each participating company will have access to its own international business student from the University of Georgia to help it with research.

ExportGA applicants will be evaluated based on the criteria listed below. An applicant need not meet ALL criteria to participate in the program:

  • Company Decision-maker: Applicant has decision-making authority for company direction/sales.
  • Domestic Business Success: Applicant’s company has stable/growing domestic sales.
  • Quality of Management: Applicant’s company has stable organization and business plan.
  • Product Outlook: Applicant’s product or service is viewed as exportable by the Applications Committee.
  • International Travel: Applicant intends to travel abroad after training to meet with prospective buyers.

U.S. Caribbean Business Conference 2023

U.S. Caribbean Business Conference 2023 participants will receive up-to-date market intelligence and help developing practical strategies for winning procurements and for exporting their goods and services.

The program will include U.S. diplomats, industry professionals, trade experts, international business experts, high-level government officials and seasoned exporters – with plenty of opportunity for networking. The conference is expected to attract over 500 participants from Florida and throughout the United States. As a participant, you will have the opportunity to network with like-minded companies and explore business opportunities in the Caribbean.

U.S. companies from all industries wishing to pursue business in the region. These may include export compliance managers, business development professionals, international sales professionals, and executive staff of exporting companies.
