Georgia’s District Export Council is a diverse group of volunteer trade professionals dedicated to helping you develop export sales and thus contribute to the National Export Program.
We are successful exporters, accountants, lawyers, freight forwarders, bankers, trade professionals, academics, and members of local government. We pool our knowledge to provide a source of professional real-world advice to businesses and to Georgia’s international trade community.
The Georgia DEC provides leadership and trade expertise to complement the U.S. Commercial Service’s export promotion work. We represent the interests of the U.S. exporting community and provide business mentoring on the export process, trade education through our Export-U.com online export training website, plus workshops, seminars and community outreach to encourage Georgia firms to export.
We follow a value and results-driven approach to serve as a model for fellow District Export Councils nationally and adhere to the goals of:

2. Advocating trade promotion policies
